1. Who we are

Find Local Merchants operates a marketplace that connects shoppers with independent merchants and market organizers. We are not the seller of merchant goods; merchants are.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. One account may hold multiple roles — shopper, merchant, organizer — and each role carries its own obligations.

3. Merchant responsibilities

• List only goods you are legally allowed to sell.
• Keep pricing, inventory, and fulfillment information accurate.
• Honor the pickup, delivery, and shipping terms you publish.
• Comply with applicable food-safety, labeling, and tax requirements.

4. Orders and payments

Orders create a contract between shopper and merchant. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; fees charged by that provider are separate from any platform fees.

5. Prohibited conduct

No fraud, harassment, misrepresentation of origin or ingredients, scraping, or attempts to circumvent platform access controls.

6. Moderation and suspension

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. Moderation actions are logged, and you may contest a decision by contacting support.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from marketplace transactions.

8. Changes

We'll post material changes to these terms on this page and notify account holders by email before they take effect.
